Jocelyn C. Zuckerman is my guest on Episode 128 of Inside Ideas with Marc Buckley.  Jocelyn is a freelance writer based in Brooklyn. The former deputy editor of Gourmet, articles editor of OnEarth, and executive editor of Modern Farmer, she has written for Audubon, The American Prospect, newyorker.com, nationalgeographic.com, and many other publications. A graduate of Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Kenya and is a former fellow with the Washington, DC–based Alicia Patterson Foundation. Jocelyn has been the recipient of a James Beard Award for feature writing and of fellowships from the Carter Center, The Peter Jennings Project, The New York Times Company Foundation, and Columbia University's Center for Environmental Research and Conservation. Her first book, Planet Palm, was published in May of 2021.
